You’ve met the team, now meet our advisors who have been there for us since the beginning.
The Strategist — TUM
Tell us about yourself
This is me at Artnow (web3sg) with my LostBoy NFT. I love Artnow, the @web3sg folks and the LostBoy project, so I was honoured to be able to showcase there.
I’m an entrepreneur at heart and I got into crypto in 2016, nfts in 2019. I’ve always considered myself a bit of a misfit as I do not believe in doing things the conventional way. For example, I’ve never had a job. Since I got out of school, I’ve just been building different types of businesses in e-commerce, retail and more. I’d like to play through life, which means I really believe in having fun in what I am doing. I aspire to a valuable member of society.
How did you get into NFTs?
I got into NFTs in 2019 through Mintable. Today I am the COO there, and we have over 800k users use our marketplace to mint and buy NFTs.
What got you excited about MIRL?
I already know the MIRL co-founders irl and will definitely want to back any business they do. I’ve invested in teams i don’t even know in real life (e.g. I invested in Solice and Burnt Finance just by looking at their deck), why not back founders that inspire me in real life?
What is your most memorable moment in building MIRL so far?
Since I am not exactly the builder here I’ll talk about my favourite MIRL moment — I think it was when a VC friend I knew reached out to me to ask if I heard of MIRL, even though at that point the team was still building in stealth. It was nice to see MIRL was getting spoken about in those circles!
Tell us about your favourite NFT artist/project
Honestly, there are so so many NFTs that I buy and own, because I do try to support nft creators as much as possible, so there isn’t just one. Maybe just one creator that I spotted today morning is @ardhiraputra and his Crystal Dolphin collection.

Interest in photography, films, music, technology and ideas. Long story short, there are quite a few people I look up to, they are just your everyday heroes.
How did you get into NFTs? (Answered with 5W 1H)
-Who
Not a specific source for who introduced NFT to me, but if you have a social media account, you cannot escape the onslaught of nft shills.
-What
It was during the writing of an ERC721 contract and I thought that I have to go through the process of buying an NFT to understand how it works (not the tech but the mental model so you have to use real money), so I just went ahead and bought one.
-When
An unassuming late morning.
-Where
In the office.
-Why
It will be very foolish if one advocates the brilliance of smart contracts and doesn’t put the money where one’s mouth is.
-How?
I went to a project’s public mint, got into their discord, experience the whole process and even fought in the eth gas war.
What is your vision for MIRL?
MIRL was introduced to me by Tum. What we are trying to build and do can be a very exciting space for fashion. Growing up in the time of Hiroki Nakamura and Rei Kawakubo, I enjoy seeing new designers coming to the scene and how they evolve and challenge traditions. I think all artistic endeavours are constantly evolving and this can be the start of the next fashion paradigm.
What is your most memorable moment in building MIRL so far?
Not my personal moment, but from MIRL’s team group chat where it is great to see the team has quite a lot of positive moments when they have accomplished something.
Tell us about your favourite NFT artist/project
My exposure to NFT is still considered relatively recent, and the space is still new. For notable projects that i like, it would have to be BYAC and Azuki.
An NFT project that describes you/relates to you or the NFT that you own
A personal side project that I hold very close to heart is called “Strange Odyssey” — a series of childlike fantasy that juxtaposes reality with fantasy. It is a collaborative effort with a good friend, Rjay, who is the artist. Still crafting, nft launch pending.

Been a full time crypto degen since 2017. Worked with various new ICO projects and protocols during the 2017 bull market, taking on roles of CM, content, marketing and BD. Went on to co-organise one of the biggest blockchain conference in Singapore with my talented colleagues. Joined a centralized exchange and wore different hats, grinding through the bear market. Ventured in DeFi and launched a new protocols. Got into NFTs and joined a fund. I am a hypebeast at heart and worship flex culture. I love streetwear, sneakers, horology and collectibles. Virgil Abloh and Kim Jones are my fashion role models. My grandma is my life role model.
How did you get into NFTs?
Can’t say that I am a hypebeast without a PFP to flex right?
What got you excited about MIRL?
As an advocate for flex culture and lifestyle, the ability to represent and mirror your PFP is imo the coolest sh*t ever. And we are sick and tired of projects selling Gildan merch that cost 15 bucks to manufacture and expect their community to cope with it. No. MIRL’s vision is to be the brand that everyone will recognize as the “cool” fashion brand in not just the metaverse but to the mass fashion community. We want to empower all of the creatives around the world and turn their ideas into reality through our ecosystem.
What is your most memorable moment in building MIRL so far?
Connecting with cool partners and designers within and beyond the web3 industry. Can’t disclose who are we in touch with for future collab and im pretty excited. And of course, the entire production period for the prototypes.
Tell us about your favourite NFT artist/project
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge BAYC evangelist when it comes to PFP project. But I love what GHXSTS have done within a short period of time as well.
